Job Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary duties and responsibilities of the Packer/Handler consist of, but are not limited to, the following: - Exemplifies the Amcor Behaviors and Values at all times. Leads by example and exhibits professionalism in all areas when representing Amcor inside and outside of the plant. - Work in a professional manner with other associates. - Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area. - Inspect products to ensure quality; set aside product that is below quality standards. - Work closely with Leads and alert the Team Leader or Supervisor of any quality issues or reject conditions. Timely response to quality issues is key to this position. - Notify the Team Leader of any safety, machinery, raw material, quality, preventive maintenance, emergency maintenance, packaging or documentation concerns. - Document information correctly on the reports for production and any downtime. - Complete assembly of products by installing gaskets in lids and handles in containers as required while keeping up with the production machines cycles. - Flame containers and lids when required. - Stack and pack product per instructions that vary with different c...
