Position Objective: The Metal Finishing | Artisan is a skilled craftsperson responsible for carrying out intermediate-level finishing work on cast metal sculptures. This role involves independent execution of grinding, chasing, sanding, polishing, and detailing tasks, as well as preparing surfaces for patina and final presentation. The Metal Finishing | Artisan ensures quality craftsmanship while supporting apprentices’ learning and collaborating with Finishing Experts to achieve the artist’s intended vision.
