Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Mechanic to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Mechanic will perform installation, assembly, dismantling, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repair equipment at facilities. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Works with industry-specific and high complex machines including but not limited to: cars, trucks, generators, hydraulic systems, pumps, gears, bearings, forklifts, ATVs, compressors etc. - Will plan, inspect, verify and document scope of work - Will replace gaskets and other defective parts on machinery. - Will dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools - Assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets and fastens machinery to foundations or other structures using hand tools and power tools. - Operates power tools, grinders and files. - Fabricates and installs parts, equipment and machinery by measuring, cutting, drilling and/or welding - Uses rigging and hoisting devices such as chokers, chain falls and come-along to move equipment/ materials into place - Conducts preventative maintenance such as lubrication and fixing or repairing worn parts. - Follows direction from supervisor and lead man - Other duties as assigned He...
