Associate Accounting - ( 260000DB ) Description Job Overview The Associate Accounting is responsible for maintaining required financial controls and serve as advisor regarding procedures, practices, record keeping and reporting requirements of all finance and accounting activities. The Associate Accounting is under the general supervision of the Manager, General Ledger. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare daily bank deposits for multiple bank accounts and code and enter deposits into the accounting system, along - with the appropriate coding and supporting documentation - Prepare monthly journal entries accurately for daily/month end close within the prescribed deadlines - Review and manipulate large data sets into format for uploading into ERP system, while still maintaining data integrity - Prepare monthly reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts; Maintain the support of outstanding balances, analyze the data and make the appropriate journal entries where needed - Assist with the collection of summer and evening school payments; Receive, deposit and reconcile both cash & credit card payments/refunds for summer and evening school registra...
