Colwen Design & Purchasing is in search of a Warehouse Associate to join our Design and Purchasing team. This position will be located out of our Fitchburg, MA location. This role will be required to perform a variety of warehouse duties relating to shipping, receiving, storage, and the inventory of items. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - Loading and unloading of trucks to include pallets as well as individual items - Properly securing cargo for shipping as well as being housed in the warehouses - Completion and verification of shipments either being received or shipped. Document any damage with photos and written details as back up for filing claims with the vendors - Operating electric pallet jack, scissor lift, and forklift to safely complete tasks and assignments. - Perform shipping, receiving, storing, and inventorying of goods and materials - Ensure that items and materials are delivered in a safe and timely manner - Other duties as assigned Requirements: We’ve got you covered: Benefits & Perks - Must be over 21 years of age - Ability to lift and carry heavy loads up to 75 lbs., and to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading. -...
