Description Introduction: Raleigh Radiology facilities and free-standing outpatient imaging centers are located in Wake County, N.C., and surrounding areas. Raleigh Radiology is seeking a skilled and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. This role functions with a high degree of independence and professionalism and serves as a collaborative member of the healthcare team. Diagnostic and Technical Responsibilities: - Perform ordered nuclear medicine procedures safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established protocols and Raleigh Radiology policies. - Prepare, administer, document, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with state and federal regulations. - Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiation detection and measurement equipment, ensuring accuracy and readiness for use. - Maintain accurate records related to radiopharmaceutical handling, equipment calibration, and regulatory reporting. - Support radiation safety initiatives, including coordination o...
