Advanced Practice Provider ICU - ( 260001CQ ) Description Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the ICU team at UH Elyria Medical Center. The schedule is 12 hr. shifts rotating days, nights (eligible for night shift incentive program), weekends and holidays. APP experience is preferred and will consider new grads for the New Grad APP Training Program. A Brief Overview: The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by an Advanced Practice Provider as specified by the Ohio State Board of Medicine or Nursing and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws. What You Will Do: - Partners with Attending to provide 24/7/365 medical and surgical management for critical-care service. - Critical-care duties include managing the comprehensive care of acutely and chronically critically ill or injured adult patients in collaboration with the intensivist physician on duty. - Advanced skills of comprehensive airway management including endotracheal intubations using direct laryngoscopy and video assisted laryngoscopy, surgical airway management including open surgical cricothyrotomy...
