At the Kepler Research Center – Automotive Optics Team we are now looking for a: PhD Student in Nano-Optical Devices for Analog Computing (m/f/d) Your mission: Perform literature analysis and technical insight to identify high potential applications of nano optics in e.g. optical computing, computing imaging and display. Explore high speed dynamical meta-surface for analog optical computing to accelerate AI computing, or conduct breakthrough of meta-lens for computing imaging. Perform samples fabrication of nano optics device, and develop proof of concept according to project requirement to illustrate the feasibility and performance.
