Cath Lab (Full-time, Day Shift) *May be eligible for $9,000 Sign-on bonus Job Summary: The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) works as a team member performing simple and complex diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional invasive cardiovascular and angiographic procedures. Applies discretion and independent judgment to the provision of age-specific and developmentally appropriate quality patient care and seeks assistance as necessary. Participates in the development of standards of care, patient and family education and staff education to address the needs of this specialized patient population. Applies theoretical concepts to clinical practice and continually expands cardiovascular and interventional knowledge base and clinical skills. Meets qualifications, licensure and certifications, and competencies as defined in the unit and departmental-specific Plan for Providing Care. Participates in educational activities, departmental committees, approved research projects and other health-related projects as assigned.
