This includes both ground and air for patients within the University of Vermont Health region. The Transportation Communication Specialist is responsible for ensuring smooth, accurate, and efficient relay of information between EMS agencies, referring providers, consumers, and the Emergency Department at UVMMC. Education: Experience: - High school or equivalent required; some college preferred. - Nationally registered (NREMT) and licensed EMT, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic required within two (2) years of employment OR Certification as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher and Certified Flight Communicator within 12 months. - Two (2) years experience as ambulance or emergency dispatcher preferred. - Six (6...
