PARALEGAL: GOVERNMENT BUREAU: DIVISION OF OPEN GOVERNMENT: (Boston office) The Attorney General is looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as Paralegal in the Division of Open Government within the Government Bureau. The Division of Open Government’s primary responsibility is statewide enforcement of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, § 18-25, which requires transparency in public body deliberations. The Division provides training and guidance on the Open Meeting Law’s requirements and investigates and resolves complaints alleging violations of the Open Meeting Law. The Division also handles certain enforcement duties under the Public Records Law, G.L. c. 66, § 10. Primary Duties : The Paralegal provides critical case management, clerical, and administrative support to the Division of Open Government.
