Department/Unit: HBD - Surgery Urology Work Shift: Per Diem (United States of America) Salary Range: $64,972.00 - $97,458.00 The X-Ray Technologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced, Urology Practice. The X-Ray Technologist produces diagnostic images and provides a safe, positive experience for patients having Urodynamic Studies requiring X-Ray. The X-Ray Technologist practices and enforces the radiation safety measures in the New York State Department of Health Code Part 16. The X-Ray Technologist supports teaching and continued learning as technology changes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintain competent imaging skills. - Practice in compliance with AMC and department policies as well as New York State Department of Health and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists standards. - Assist physicians in all aspects of procedures in their assigned area. - Provide a safe, positive experience for the patient. - Act as a mentor and preceptor to new staff and students. - Actively support AMC and the imaging department in maintaining proper accreditations. - Accurately enter patient data into the co...
