Role description: The National Account Manager is responsible for executing the segment commercial business plan which includes coordinating sales activities with customer accounts and prospects. This position manages purchases and communication between plant locations and customer facilities, which may include utilizing sales and technical services. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a sales strategy for increasing sales and profits through assigned customer accounts Participating in contract negotiations: Develop new customers and establish customer relations with current customers to generate new business Maintain ongoing contact with accounts and prospects by developing and coordinating sales presentations, managing forecasts, and ensuring proper sales service support is provided to customers Perform administrative activities necessary for the effective management of responsibilities Maintain timely communication of customer problems or potential problems to sales management and ensure corrective action is developed and taken Monitor inventory turnover per planned goals and develop action plans Assist the credit and collection department as necessary in their collection ef...
