BB&E is an employee-owned full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors. Position Summary: BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Cost Estimator to join our team, providing technical support in support of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center Work for Others Branch (AFCEC/CFSD) located at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)-Lackland, TX. This position is a remote support position. Job Duties & Responsibilities: - Provide and utilize cost estimating software and hardware to draft itemized construction and design cost forecasts at a level of detail sufficient to aid in construction and design Contractor cost proposal analysis and establishment of Government negotiation positions. - Prepare cost analyses to clearly articulate project means and methods that support reasonable economy and efficiency with clearly defined productivity rates.
