Capture Support Specialist - Business Development

Job description

The Capture Specialist is responsible for all administrative aspects of Capture management—primarily by assisting the Capture Manager in deeply researching potential clients, identifying their needs, monitoring the capture budget, developing compelling win strategies, and orchestrating the proposal process to maximize the chances of securing a contract. Often working closely with various teams within the company before a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) is released. Key Responsibilities: Opportunity identification and qualification: - Supports Capture Manager in actively seeking out potential business opportunities, assess their viability, and determine if they align with the company's capabilities and strategic goals. Market research and analysis: - Supports Capture Manager in conducting in-depth market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and key buying criteria to inform the capture strategy. Win strategy development: - Supports Capture Manager in developing a comprehensive win strategy outlining the key differentiators, value proposition, and approach to address customer pain points, including pricing and teaming strategies.
