About OzHarvest: OzHarvest is a leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. Through our education programs and our advocacy work, we hope to inspire others to change their behaviour and help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030. About the role: As Engagement Chef Coordinator, this role involves the delivery of OzHarvest’s key corporate engagement program – Cooking For a Cause (CFAC), a team building cooking session, using rescued/donated food and leading and instructing teams of corporate volunteers to produce meals for the community. You will help lead engaging cooking sessions using rescued food, guiding corporate volunteers to create meals for those in need. You’ll support kitchen operations, menu planning, food procurement, and ensure food safety compliance. This is a hands-on, multi-dimensional role ideal for someone who loves teaching, thrives in a kitchen, and is committed to sustainability and social justice.
