Description Semmes Murphey Clinic is committed to implementing a team-based approach to provide excellence in patient care. The Neurosurgeon will work with other members of Semmes Murphey Clinic to provide clinical services, and is expected to participate in the appropriate team activities with the objective of providing a high standard of clinical practice and clinical expertise, while contributing to the provision of efficient and effective Neurological services at Semmes Murphey Clinic. The Neurosurgeon will perform surgeries on the brain, spine and peripheral nerves, as well as analyze test results and decide what treatment and/or procedure will provide the best inpatient and outpatient care for Neurosurgery patients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive and problem focused histories and physical examinations using medical instruments and equipment, ascertaining symptoms indicative of neurological disorders - Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests using CAT scans, MRI's, EEG's, myleograms, bone scans and other radiographic studies, as well as perform diagnostic procedures, including biopsies, cerebral angiograms, lumbar punctures, ventriculostomies to...
