Job description

Summary Responsible for assisting with recreational activities and services for all persons using the Garland recreation centers. Target Hiring Range: Starts at $13.00/hr Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide information to the public regarding recreation center activities; register participants for classes and activities. Assist the public via phone or walk-up to give information regarding programs, schedules and other related information. Perform custodial and customer service to keep the Recreation Center clean, orderly and properly set up for events and activities. Assist in inventory control of equipment and supplies. Supervise recreation activities and events. Enforce and maintain City and Department policies as needed including interpreting and relating department rules and policies to customers. Minimum Education & Work Experience: Education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
