FlexStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse with current Infection Control Certification (APIC) for our Client, for a skilled nursing facility (long- and short-term), located in Manhattan, NY. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9a-5pm. This position offers a $6,000 hiring bonus for full ‑ time hires. Qualifications: Current Registered Professional Nurse Licensed to practice in New York State. Baccalaureate in Nursing, Master’s Degree in Education or healthcare related field is preferred. APIC certified or Infection Control Certification is required. A minimum of four years nursing experience including previous supervisory experience preferred. You will be responsible for the management and implementation of the Infection Control program . Duties and Responsibilities: Directs and oversees nursing care on the assigned unit. Delegates direct resident care to appropriate nursing staff. Monitors care to ensure it aligns with each resident’s plan of care. Communicates resident and unit needs effectively to Nursing Administration.
