FAB SHOP PIPEFITTER I (2nd shift)

Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for assembling, fitting, and fabricating piping systems in a controlled shop environment to support construction projects. This role involves interpreting blueprints and isometric drawings, cutting and preparing pipe, performing layout, and assembling components to meet project specifications. The Pipefitter works closely with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities and Duties: - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for piping systems. - Measure and verify pipe cut lengths per blueprints. - Perform layout and fit-up of piping assemblies in the shop. - Work with welders to position and secure pipes for welding. - Conduct quality checks on fabricated piping assemblies to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Operate hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and pipe fabrication machinery. - Assist with material handling, loading/unloading, and organizing shop inventory. - Maintain safe and clean working conditions in accordance with company policies. - Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines. - Perform other tasks as assigned by the Fabrication Shop...
