If you want to make a living by making a difference, join Acenda as an Counselor Non-Exempt Job Title: Senior Counselor Program Overview: The Adult Partial Care (APC) program assists individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness with developing the skills and support necessary to live, learn and work with the least amount of intervention from the behavioral health system. The Adult Partial Care program offers comprehensive, individualized and quality behavioral health treatment within a group setting, designed to promote maximum independence in the least restrictive setting. Position Summary: The Senior counselor has the primary responsibility for leading the team in program in service coordination, provision or arrangement of services needed and coordination of admission/discharge process, personal advocacy and development, review and updating of individual service plans. The counselor provides face-to-face interaction with the consumer supporting the therapeutic contact necessary to achieve the consumer's treatment.
