Available Title(s): 600K-YN_CS_NPS - Equipment Technician 3 Business Title: Equipment Technician 3 Employee Type: Classified Position Details: The Opportunity: As the Equipment Technician 3, you perform journey‑level inspection, troubleshooting, diagnosis, servicing, and major and minor mechanical repairs on a wide range of equipment used in highway maintenance, heavy and industrial/commercial operations, or motorized farm work. You carry out preventative maintenance, operate shop equipment as part of your daily responsibilities, and may order, requisition, and maintain an inventory of parts. Additional Information: This is a full-time ( 100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. Monthly Salary: $5,271 to $6,107 | Range 50G (Steps G-M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28 .
