Social Media and Events Content Strategist (Hybrid)

The role – what you’ll do Barr Engineering Co. seeks an experienced, creative social media and events content strategist to join our Minneapolis, Minnesota, team. In this role, you will lead social media strategy, develop integrated marketing campaigns, and create written and visual communications for Barr’s social channels, events and conferences, and other forums and platforms. You’ll craft engaging, audience-centric content featuring Barr events, industry conferences, presentations, interviews, and more. In this position, you will apply your knowledge of social media and digital marketing best practices to help increase Barr’s brand visibility and boost engagement with content highlighting the company’s people, projects, and community impact. You will work closely with Barr’s events and communications team members, as well as our engineers, scientists, and technical specialists, to plan promotional strategies and translate complex technical topics into compelling content.
