Complex Engineer

Job description

The Complex Engineer will be responsible for managing engineering activities at six (6) complex locations (2-Hatcheries, 1-Feed Mill, 1-Processing Plant, 1-Debone Plant and 1-Prepared Foods/DC Plant). The engineering activities include supporting operations management to promote continuous improvements within the complex. - Design and develop improvement opportunities working with management teams and outside resources to explore opportunities for process improvements. - Function as the project manager for assigned projects managing scope, schedule and budget. - Communicate effectively to all levels of management. - All other relevant duties to the job. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred with 10+ years of experience in industry related roles. - 5+ years of work experience (prefer Food Industry related with Poultry emphasis). - Must have experience with managing projects with multiple internal and external professional teams. - Ability to recognize continuous improvement projects and develop found opportunities into projects (Six Sigma Green Belt preferred). - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. - Comfortable with speaking to large gr...
