Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Surgical Technologist at the University of Tennesee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Position Highlights: - Opportunity to care for Military Families - Paid Time Off - Medical, Dental, Vision & 401K - Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts - On Call On-call begins Friday at 1830 and ends Monday at 0630. On call one weekend per month. - If called in must report within 30 minutes. Job Requirements: - Experience : One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician after graduation. Education: - Graduate from CAAHEP - Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (or) - ABHES - Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (or) - Completion of a formal training program provided by any U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) for surgical technicians, surgical technologists or operating room technicians.
