WSP is currently initiating a search for a Civil Engineer – Roadway Design to support our Florida Transportation Team! This position will work out of our Miami, FL office. Summary: This position will have the opportunity to work within the WSP Miami Offices, a team-focused local environment. The selected candidate will work with FDOT and local municipal agencies on a variety of projects on a regular basis. Existing relationships and experience with FDOT are beneficial. This position is an excellent opportunity for personal growth and advancement in our industry as well as building your relationship within the WSP organization on a regional and national level. The Civil Engineer should have experience in leading research, conceptual development, design, and constructability of roads, bridge structures, drainage systems, and ITS. Other tasks may include generating accurate and concise training and workflow documentation regarding standardized design software and specifications. The selected candidate(s) will work on State owned projects on a regular basis, as well as with municipalities and local governments. Experience with FDOT and/or Ports projects is beneficial.
