Department: 36317 Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital - CT Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 20 Schedule Details/Additional Information: $2,500 Sign on Bonus 5 shifts every 2 weeks 12:00pm-8:30pm Rotating weekends, Holidays, and Call: Pay Range: $35.50 - $53.25 Major Responsibilities: Production of scans, positions, and immobilization of patients. Selects proper technical factors. Ensures patient is well informed about procedure and other relevant positioning information. Responsibility for diagnostic procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology so that independent selection and modification of technical factors may produce optimum results. Responsible for capturing appropriate exam charges, updates to procedure files, reimbursement codes, etc., with the HIS/RIS Computer System, as well as training and overseeing department personnel following HIS/RIS Procedures; checks daily log to see that day's exams are appropriately completed.
