Description Duties and Responsibilities: - Supervises the Sales Department staff, including reviewing existing job responsibilities and reporting relationships, assigning duties, providing feedback regarding job performance, and developing employees’ skill levels, while developing an effective team. - Hires, trains, terminates, and evaluates the performance of all Sales Department employees. - Responsible for understanding and complying with California Labor Code and all wage and hour laws, including but not limited to compensating employees for all hours worked; providing meal, rest, and recovery periods; and maintaining accurate time records. - Responsible for complying with all state and federal laws, including but not limited to equal employment; pay equity; harassment, discrimination, and retaliation; and reasonable accommodations. - Executes policies, procedures, systems, and controls for the effective running of the Sales Department. - Executes, administers, and coordinates the activities of the Sales Department in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the General Manager.
