Silex Microsystems is the worlds leading pure-play MEMS foundry, customizing solutions for prominent global clients in industries such as pharmaceuticals, consumer electronics, and automotive. We are currently looking for a Service Technician to join our Bond Area, helping to ensure the uptime of our equipments. About the team Many MEMS devices contain moving parts or require a specific atmosphere (like a vacuum) to function correctly and reliably. Wafer bonding is a vital part of our production for permanently joining two wafers to achieve a mechanically stable connection between them. Equipment used in this area includes bond chambers, cleaning modules, cooling stations, wafer aligners, plasma chamber, and IR cameras.There are a team of four Engineers, one Service Technician and tenOperators working in the Bond area. About the role As a Service Technician at Silex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our state-of-the-art, fully automated production wafer bonding systems that integrates wafer-to-wafer alignment and bonding processes are maintained through frequent preventive maintenance tasks often conducted in a cleanroom environment.
