Overview: The Juilliard School is accepting applications for full-time faculty in the Department of Music History to begin in Fall 2026. The department teaches courses to graduate and undergraduate students with a focus on the Western classical tradition, as well as the full range of music and cultures that intersect with it. Undergraduates must complete a three-semester survey core and electives, whose topics vary widely. Graduate students (MM and DMA) must complete courses on diverse topics.
