Shift: (Per Diem (PD) 8 - 25 hrs. per week, M-F) Days, evenings, flexible shift, on call rotational coverage and weekends may be needed. Work Location: University of Miami Hospital & Clinics - Radiology Imaging Services UTower (Miami) CORE JOB SUMMARY: The CAT Scan Technologist - PRN obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The incumbent also produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas, as required by the departmental procedures. Additionally, an employee in this position performs obstetric, gynecological, abdominal, and retroperitoneais scans, ultrasound techniques and examinations, and radiation therapy localization.
