Responsibilities will include the implementation and oversight of processes that drive production scheduling, inventory management, sourcing management, purchase order processing, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, and logistics management to support customer requirements while supporting quality assurance and the management team. The Supply Chain Supervisor will work with staff across departments to understand and forecast the needs of the business and make data-based purchase decisions to ensure customer deliverables. This role requires both a strategic and tactical view of the responsibilities, thinking on a broad level about the best way to manage the supply chain resources to maximize the value to Sur-Seal.
