Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Description: Shift: 7p-730a Friday, Saturday, Sunday shifts What you will do: Prepares patient drug orders as follows (with proper checks performed by a pharmacist as required by law): enters patient prescription orders into the computer; selects correct medication, strength and dosage form; prepares labels; selects and affixes auxiliary labels to medications as appropriate and legally required; counts, measures, weighs & pours medications; documents doses dispensed; files medication orders. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Pharmacy Technician Certification Program required. Registered as pharmacy technician with the State Board of Pharmacy Examiners at date of hire. Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within 3 months of hire. Basic Life Support (BLS) certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire. The acceptable credentialing body for this requirement is the American Heart Association. High School Diploma or GED when nationally certified through NHA.
