Waterblast - Operator

Job description

Verifies routing card information and correlates with castings and the melt numbers. Keeps heats (traceability tags) and melt number tags with the castings. Washes parts using high pressure water equipment and attachments. Ensures quality of castings of different value. Ensures cleanliness of equipment and work area being used. Ensures keeping parts sorted, identified into correct groups in the department. Performs other duties as required. Respects the values and code of ethics of the company. Respects the Environment, Health & Safety programs of the company. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to understand activity instructions: Ability to use measuring instruments: Ability to handle hoists: Tolerance to extreme heat
