Opportunity PeopleTec is currently seeking a DEPO Systems Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location. The Directed Energy Project Office (DEPO), part of the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO), develops, integrates, and transitions High Energy Laser (HEL) and other directed energy weapon systems to meet Army operational needs. This position serves within DEPO’s Systems Engineering Section, providing broad systems engineering support across the project office. The engineer will contribute to requirements development, architecture design, integration planning, and verification and validation (V&V) activities across multiple directed energy programs. The role includes coordination with prime contractors, subcontractors, and integration partners to ensure system designs meet government specifications, interface requirements, and performance objectives. The engineer will support government technical reviews, evaluate contractor data packages, and contribute to risk assessments, configuration management, and lifecycle readiness activities.
