Southwest Cheese is the world’s largest manufacture of cheese/whey products and is located in Clovis, New Mexico. It is a joint venture between Glanbia and The Greater Southwest Agency and provides ample opportunity for career growth and experience in a fast-paced, high-performing enterprise. Job Summary: This position will be for a Whey Production Level IV whose primary roles will be; operator skill training, setting up/conducting training classes with relevant documentation. The individual will need to be flexible in this regard, along with having an in-depth knowledge of the whey plant equipment. The candidate will also need to have a good technical foundation in whey operations. Other responsibilities will include the ability to operate and lead any position within their area of responsibility. Essential Functions: - Liaise with shift, review, and identify areas where training and instruction are needed. - Meet with the Whey trainer on a weekly basis to go over the training needs and progress. - Turn in a daily summary to the trainer summarizing the day’s progress or issues. - Use the training material from the training department. - Work with PM’s from the assigned shift in as...
