Job description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromsgrove District and Redditch to assist with the appointment of a Capital Quantity Surveyor , on a 6-month contract , likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £32.43 - £41.08 per hour Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Preparing contract documentation (Tenders, Bills of Quantities, Work Schedules, Specifications, Schedule of Rates) - Procuring goods, services and works contracts - Undertaking site measurements and valuing works - Preparing interim payments, variations and final accounts - Analysing and agreeing claims - Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Quantity Surveying Essential Requirements: - Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in Quantity Surveying (pre- and post-contract) - Strong knowledge of various building contract forms - Experience managing revenue, capital and externally funded budgets - Experience producing and issuing contract administration documentation - Knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations including CDM Please note: Disclaimer: Brackenberry Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
