Summary Oversees retail dining operations to facilitate successful operations and meet revenue objectives Essential Job Functions: - Manages the daily operations of the counter operation and supervises cash handling procedures - Maintains all sanitation and safety standards established by the university - Maintains the proper storage and rotation of ready-made food products complying with appropriate standards - Assists with creating menus for the dining center and executes the preparation and delivery of menu items, as needed - Maintains supply inventory by ordering supplies from approved vendors while maintaining cost objectives, receiving goods and storing them appropriately - Assists with creating and coordinating work schedule for staff and students - Monitors the departmental budget - Supervises and develops the department staff, facilitating professional opportunities to improve individual capability and managing performance against job accountabilities, department goals and established university, campus and department policies and procedures - Supervises and manages student employees, as necessary, to enhance their academic and professional development - Performs other dut...
