Description The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children’s Hospital is a developing group of 3 physician providers and 2 advance practice providers. The division provides care for children with all types of respiratory disease. In addition to the general pulmonary practice, clinical programs include a Cystic Fibrosis Center; the Ventilator Integration Program, for children with more complex problems and using positive pressure support; a multidisciplinary consultative service for neonates with bronchopulmonary dysplasia. Diagnostic services include comprehensive pulmonary function and exercise laboratories and a flexible bronchoscopy program. It is expected that approximately 25% of the incumbent’s time will be devoted to research commensurate with the candidate’s expertise and experience in research and scholarly activity. Qualifications: The Department of Pediatrics, Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children’s Hospital and the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University are seeking a Division Director of Pulmonology.
