Job description

Acosta internships are an 8-12-week program designed to help college sophomores and juniors gain exposure to the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Interns build technical, business, and leadership skills through hands-on experience, training, and mentorship beyond the classroom. - Participate in training and perform duties across functional areas (e.g., sales support, marketing, retail, sales, and administrative support). - Learn line and staff functions, operations, management perspectives, and company policies and practices that impact each phase of the business. - Set performance goals and objectives in partnership with leadership. - Track progress toward goals with management and assigned trainers/mentors. - Shadow experienced team members to learn methods, procedures, and standards required for departmental responsibilities. - Complete training in related departments to support cross-functional understanding and potential future opportunities. - Attend company-sponsored training classes and development sessions. - Complete a management-assigned project identified at the start of the internship.
