Description Quality Control Engineer Yanmar Compact Equipment North America designs, manufactures, and supports a complete range of compact equipment including compact track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders and construction equipment for use in such markets as construction, landscaping, utility, land management and agriculture. The products are sold primarily through a third party, independent dealer network. OVERVIEW: The candidate in this position will contribute to the Quality team by working closely with manufacturing and engineering groups to focus on our drive to be the highest delivered quality compact equipment in the industry. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Collect and evaluate quality data to identify process improvement opportunities. - Evaluate early hour warranty claims and collaborate with team members on action plans to improve customer satisfaction. - Work with Operations to create corrective action plans to address process failures. - Review supplier performance metrics and initiate Supplier Corrective Actions to mitigate impact on production schedule. - Conduct audits of supplier processes and products to ensure compliance. - Develop dashboard to monitor COPQ inputs a...
