Position Summary: The Banquet Captain is responsible for overseeing and coordinating banquet events to ensure exceptional guest service and smooth operations. This role supervises banquet staff, manages event setup and execution, and serves as the primary point of contact during events. Qualifications: - Event Execution - Oversee all aspects of banquet events from setup to breakdown - Ensure rooms are set according to event specifications (BEOs – Banquet Event Orders) - Coordinate timing of food and beverage service with kitchen staff - Team Leadership - Supervise, train, and direct banquet servers and support staff - Assign duties and ensure staff adhere to service standards - Monitor staff performance and provide feedback - Guest Service - Act as the main point of contact for clients during events - Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing needs and re...
