Job DetailsJob Location: Kalamazoo, MI 49001Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: Third ShiftJob Category: ManufacturingMAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES _______________________________________ · Follow established safety practices at all times – become SME on safety equipment and train others. · Assist management in coordinating daily activities of production employees and machinery. · Train Operators on the functions of machines and processes. · Perform new mold and material trials. · Manage shift changes and line priorities with management. · Cooperate with warehouse on requests for raw materials to run the lines. · Elaborate shift reports and close the shift controlling consumption of materials of the shift staying after shift change for the necessary time (estimated 30 min). · Lead and coordinate the workload of the shift employees to include work assignments that follow the production schedule. · Troubleshoot machinery, using knowledge of equipment to meet production schedules. · Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. · Assist in training new employees and retraining of existing workforce as needed. · Review...
