Production Planning Specialist (Slotter)

Job description

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Production Planning Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of developing vehicl e schedules (s lotted orders) for an Assembly Plant (s) adhering to the production program, supplier, and plant constraints . Adjust schedules as required to sustain production . In some instances, this may require weekend assistance . Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to: - Lead discussions between key stakeholders to maintain a steady flow of usable orders to extend gate line (sequenced orders) - Collaborate with the assembly plant management for the development of launch curves for new features/programs - Must be able to work with others and build consensus to solve complex problems - The position requires strong interaction with key stakeholder's counterparts within SCM Production Planning, SCM Demand Planning, Plant personnel & SCM Capacity Planning to ensure the production plan balances inventory and profit opportunity - Enabling successful buildouts and new model year launches by managing orders and program in line with launch curves and buildout timing - Collaborating with ICT to optimize OSS and FOG to achieve business goals...
