Choose To Make A Difference Reporting to the Campus Executive Director, with a dotted-line relationship to the Provost, the University Dean of General Education holds a dual-scope leadership role. Approximately 70% of the position is dedicated to campus-level academic operations - providing day-to-day leadership, direction, supervision, and evaluation of the general education program, academic support, retention and services on the assigned campus. The remaining 30% is dedicated to university-wide responsibilities, including oversight of the academic and operational components of General Education across all undergraduate programs delivered online and on site. Campus-level responsibilities include academic policy administration, instructional effectiveness, instructional administration, faculty management, and serving as a member of the campus leadership team for strategic planning and fiscal management. University-wide responsibilities include ensuring the quality, integrity, and consistency of curriculum and instruction for the General Education program across all delivery modalities.
