About the company: Aesir Interactive is an independent game development studio building ambitious titles for global audiences. We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Controller to take ownership of our financial controlling processes with a particular focus on securing and controlling public and private funding across projects. Your role: You will independently manage controlling tasks across active projects, own financial reporting, and take the lead on funding controlling from tracking disbursements and eligible costs to preparing all controlling-side documentation for public and private funding programmes. You work closely with project managers and senior management, and bring the structure and judgment to operate with a high degree of autonomy. Main responsibilities: Recurring Controlling Tasks: - Perform monthly and quarterly controlling routines: data collection, plausibility checks, and report updates. - Own and further develop financial templates and reporting frameworks; ensure they reflect current project and cost data at all times. - Monitor actuals vs. budget across projects, analyze deviations, and proactively recommend corrective actions to project leadersh...
