FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt DEPARTMENT: Cable Manufacturing - Assembly: Reports To: Warehouse Manager: DIRECT REPORTS: None: Position Summary: The Cable Fabricator Lead position entails manufacturing coaxial cable in various lengths using mechanical draw down stations and associated test equipment. This will also include the use of soldering irons, various hand tools including cutters, pliers, and rotary forming tools. The majority of the workday will be spent on your feet standing and walking. Education: Experience: Knowledge: Skills: - High School or GED - 3+ years experience in cable manufacturing or equivalent manufacturing techniques - Proficient in the use of hand tools for precise assembly - Solid foundation in basic mathematical principles - Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English - Strong mechanical aptitude with advanced troubleshooting capabilities - Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Skilled in utilizing dial calipers, micrometers, and rulers for accurate measurements - Basic proficiency with computer systems and software applications - Reading and interpreting both imperial and metric measurements with ease - Well-versed in industry-...
