Capitol View Transitional Care Center is a state-of-the-art true transitional care unit (TCU) located in Regions Hospital (we are part of the HealthPartners organization as a separate nonprofit organization.) We provide quality care to patients from 18+ years of age who are in need of a short-term stay. Our average length of stay is 17 days. As an Rehab Aide, you will be responsible for the following job duties and responsibilities: FTE: .8 FTE (32 hours per week) - Transporting patients scheduled for PT, OT, and ST to and from treatments areas. - Assist with patient related physical, occupational, and speech therapy duties and tasks under the on-site supervision of the therapist following therapy association guideline. - Follow safety standards while preforming patient related duties i.e. good body mechanics, transfer belt, correct transfer procedures, and comply with patient precautions - Notifies therapist of any resident related problems. - Assist professional staff as requested - Preforms assigned clerical duties: filing, copying, mailing, scheduling, equipment ordering, and timely preparat...
