San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is an international, nonprofit conservation organization with two front doors: the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION: The Dish Washer performs all job assignments with a positive attitude that supports San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance's mission and vision of saving species worldwide by uniting our expertise in wildlife care and conservation science with our dedication to inspiring passion for nature and leading the fight against extinction. The Dish Washer under supervision, operates dishwashing machine; cleans pots, pans and kitchen utensils. This position reports to Retail Management. Positions in this class are assigned to a restaurant and perform a variety of semi-routine tasks under supervision. WHAT YOU WILL DO: - Operates and cleans washing machine - Washes pots, pans, utensils and kitchen appliances - Removes dishes from bus tubs - Maintains work area in a clean, orderly and safe condition - Assists other kitchen personnel as necessary.
