Wood is recruiting an MCRO for a client in the North Sea. This mobilises from Aberdeen on a 2*3 rotation. The Marine Control Room Operator reports to the OM Supervisor and will assist in all marine aspects relating to the operation of the FSU. Responsible to monitor, control and operate the marine and cargo operations efficiently, ensuring all procedures are adhered to. Ensure to display a pro-active and continuous approach to safety. The role will be involved in all day-to-day marine operations to ensure safe and effective operation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Control, Monitor, receive, store and discharge crude oil cargo and slops, COW, operation of inert gas systems, maintaining stability of FSU and monitoring of FSU safety and control systems complying with all the working and reporting procedures and relevant standards Ensure the management and quality of the Cargo Operate the ballast system including the operation of ballast valves and pumps, including routine and emergency ballasting/de-ballasting.
